Mindful Marketing Leadership

Some say that marketing can do no wrong, while others claim it can do no right. Having worked in and taught marketing throughout my career, I've seen that marketing is positive when practiced according to its core tenet: the creation of mutually beneficial exchange.

Unfortunately, I also
 see instances in which certain marketers stray from their mandate and fail to produce value for consumers. Likewise, there are cases in which narrowly-focused marketing negatively impacts secondary stakeholders and society as a whole.

I began Mindful Marketing because I care about marketing and everyone it impacts and because I know there are many other "mindful" people who share these commitments.  By encouraging marketing that's both effective and ethical, we can make a difference in marketing and in our world.
